I have a dream to have beautiful, helpful, inspiring, and popular social media accounts to spread my belief that young children thrive outdoors. However, I also have a knowledge that social media takes a lot of things away from us. Focus, connection, being present in the moment. With that said- since summer is our favorite season- we’re going to be soaking it all in and spending time away from social media. There’s books to be read, journals to be written in, and time to be spent. I’ll still be posting blogs and updates on my website so feel free to reach out there or through email! Before children can sit and create beautiful paintings and works of art they need experiences like this. {process art} the goal is to learn about the process of creating art instead of creating with a specific product in mind. I’ll never stop advocating for getting kids outsid

I’ll never stop advocating for getting kids outside EVERY DAY! It’s not easy but it’s worth it 🩵 these kids are only 1.5-2 years old but by 10:30 am they are trying to put their shoes on because they love going outside too. Even if we only get outside for 10 minutes because it’s wet and cold, I ask kids to look up at the sky and take some deep breaths. The fresh air and space to move is a mental reset for all of us. This month, we are using and outdoor tracker from @blossomandstardust . The tracker is so pretty but of course I’m out of ink 😂 happy winter!!! #earlychildhoodeducation #montana #missoula #naturebasedlearning #childcareprovider
